Metode ini dikembangkan oleh para ilmuwan untuk mempercepat analisis genetik dengan menggunakan teknologi PCR yang sudah ada sebelumnya.<\/p>\n<p>Menurut Prof. Dr. Budi Utomo, seorang ahli genetika dari Universitas Indonesia, PCR OPAC memiliki keunggulan dalam mengidentifikasi variasi genetik secara cepat dan akurat. &#8220;Dengan menggunakan satu primer saja, metode ini mampu mengamplifikasi DNA concatemers dengan efisien, sehingga memudahkan penelitian tentang keanekaragaman genetik suatu populasi,&#8221; ujar Prof. Budi.<\/p>\n<p>Metode PCR OPAC telah digunakan dalam berbagai penelitian genetika di Indonesia. Dr. Ani Wulandari, seorang peneliti dari Lembaga Biologi Molekuler Eijkman, mengatakan bahwa metode ini telah membantu dalam mengidentifikasi polimorfisme genetik pada populasi Indonesia. &#8220;Dengan PCR OPAC, kami dapat melihat perbedaan genetik antar individu dengan lebih detail dan cepat,&#8221; ungkap Dr. Ani.<\/p>\n<p>Selain itu, Prof. Dr. Andi Hakim Nasution, seorang ahli bioteknologi dari Institut Teknologi Bandung, juga menambahkan bahwa PCR OPAC memberikan kontribusi besar dalam penelitian tentang keanekaragaman genetik tumbuhan endemik Indonesia. &#8220;Dengan metode ini, kami dapat mengetahui sebaran gen-gen penting pada tumbuhan endemik kita dengan lebih baik,&#8221; kata Prof. Andi.<\/p>\n<p>Secara keseluruhan, PCR OPAC menjadi terobosan baru dalam penelitian genetik di Indonesia.
